What a great discovery! The service and the welcome were attentive. A beautifully decorated room that allows you to rest in peace in a quiet, clean and quality environment. A varied breakfast with a variety of ... More very fresh local products. All this for a perfect price/quality ratio.
I regularly travel to Quimper and have now found my home away from home! I can only recommend it!

Very good reception, attentive, very well placed in the centre and at the same time quiet, very clean, very well equipped, contemporary decoration with taste and respect of the granite walls.
Very good and copious breakfast with local products ... More and fresh .
Well done!

Not worthy of a Best Western. "Unforgettable stay" but not for the right reasons.
We chose this hotel to treat ourselves, but in the end we were very disappointed.
Good reception by the night receptionist ... More who opens the barrier to the car park (beware, a small car park with an extra charge of 7€, we were not warned on arrival).
The hall gives us a good view, but once in the room, it's a cold shower... Cold shower also in the room (it would have been nice to warn that the water was barely warm in the evening) and blocked! Back to the reception, change of room. Small room, sober, some nice objects. In the bathroom: bathtub, hair, mould, barely warm water, rust on the radiator, used bandage that falls off when the towel is deployed (yuck!), towel hook that comes off the wall... Beware also of the noise: bars nearby, you can hear perfectly the conversation of people in the street and cars, as well as the room neighbours.
The next day, bad surprise: paid parking not included in the room (7€). The receptionist's answer was "sorry you didn't see it on the website". So, I looked again on the official website of Best Western, nothing, neither in your file, nor in your "strong points", nor in the FAQ. You have to click on the link to another site to find out... The fees are indeed "not hidden" but not visible either.
Positive points: fortunately, good bedding; kettle with tea and coffee; hairdryer (to warm up after the cold shower)

While waiting for our vehicle to be repaired, our insurance company provided us with accommodation in this establishment. We arrived in the middle of the evening and were given a warm welcome. The staff is great, the hotel is clean and very ... More comfortable. We recommend it

We had a good stay and discovered the city and stayed two nights at the Best Western plus Hotel le Kregenn, rue des Réguaires.
I'm still very surprised that the nightlife around a 4-star hotel is not very active. ... More not more supervised.
In an establishment like the Best Western, the quality of the services and the welcome are spoiled by the appalling noise produced by the activity of the bar in the street. Even though it is an institution, I am not sure that it is a good one.
asks why in Quimper a fair balance is not found. Whether in Tours, La Baule, Pornichet, Paris or other large cities, where several bars are very active at night, a balance of opening hours is found. A real
Framing allows tourists in hotels as well as bars for tourists or year-round residents to have a good time.
Opening until 2 a.m. is perfectly possible as long as users are kept indoors ... with, for example, booths for smokers.
The hotel is criticized for a lack of air-conditioning whereas in this region one understands perfectly that one does not usually sleep with the window open, such an investment and a great period of work would not be profitable... one understands it.
Even if residents vote, tourists can give their opinion and alert the authorities in charge of public policy... in Quimper and in this street it is time to stop ignoring the problem!

Nice hotel very well located at 2 steps from the heart of Quimper. Very good welcome. The little extra: a pretty Zen garden with a fountain for breakfast in the morning and a relaxing moment at the end of the day. We recommend without reservation.

I really enjoyed my stay in Quimper! Hotel Kregenn has character but has been renovated and tastefully decorated. I loved the serene, outdoor space with the small pond. This hotel is in a quiet location that is easily walkable to shops, ... More restaurants, and the beautiful cathedral.
The check in was quick, staff was welcoming but efficient, and the room itself was comfortable and clean. Highly recommend.

I will start by saying the hotel was clean and the location is convenient. There is a paid parking at €7/night in the hotel.
Didn't feel the 4 stars atmosphere though.
The service was so so: I called for a missing towel after looking ... More everywhere for it and the receptionist insisted for me to recheck a second time while I was insisting that I did. Not a great start.
Note to the hotel: If a customer said he already checked under the sink then he did, period.
In the room, cheap coffee sticks in the bedroom (no option for milk), no toiletries in the bathroom (wall dispenser for soap and shower gel), visible wires out of the heater, cracks on the floor in the bathroom.
No way to control the temperature in the room (I looked for it everywhere), it was COLD all night. While checking out, I shared this with the receptionist and he insisted that I didn't look for it enough. Note to the hotel: being "sorry" about it would have been better than patronizing me. And no, I will not call you at 2am to come in my room to show me how the heater works. We shouldn't need an instruction manual to use a hotel room.

This is sold as a four star hotel. Not sure how the star system works, but in my opinion it is a three star at best. The public spaces are fine but the rooms are a bit tired. The location is just on the outskirts of the old town. Just a ... More short walk, but the street is a little rough. No problem though. There is secure parking, but you have to pay for it. The shower was good. The staff were very helpful. Small garden at the back is very pretty.

Horror-night. Not worth 4 stars. Room smells like a wet dog had slept here. The gaybar just below our room is really noisy ( understatement) No fridge. No airco and with the heat impossible to sleep. Opening windows not an issue because ... More the screaming of the bar.
