Our recommendations for visits and walks around the hotel
The Hotel Kregenn team loves to share its good ideas for walks and visits. Get off the beaten track with our favourites from the region!

Laure
The highlight of my week is the Saturday morning market in the Providence car park.
Then, I like to stroll through the cobbled streets of our historic heart and make a diversion to Saint-Corentin Cathedral, a jewel of Gothic art (little extra: every last Sunday of the month, a visit to the cathedral spires is possible).
I also like to have lunch in the crêperie du Quartier, rue du Sallé, near the inevitable Place au Beurre, before going to the Jardin de la Retraite on sunny days! To see Quimper from above, I recommend the wooded walk on Mont Frugy. On your way back to the hotel, don't forget to walk along the quays to (re)discover the ramparts and, a little further on, the Kodak house built in 1933.

I particularly enjoy walking along the coast of Cap Sizun, between the Baie des Trépassés and Douarnenez. On the way, I like to stop at the calvary of the church of Notre-Dame de Confort-Meilars, which dates from the 16th century, and at Pont-Croix for its picturesque little streets!
For dinner, back to Quimper, near the hotel, the rue du Frout hosts several restaurants with a relaxed atmosphere, my HQ is undoubtedly "La Pépinière", everything is good, from the starter to the dessert and the choice of wines, divine!
